A Little About Me....

I am Mom to 4 kids, wife to Mr Wonderful, and slave to my very own mountain of laundry I lovingly call Mt. Washmore. We live in Eastern Oregon and enjoy camping, fishing, sewing, homeschooling, woodworking, remodeling our home top to bottom, and our new church family.

This year for some reason feels like a chance to get to know myself. It is a turning point to embrace all the positives of who I used to be. I can leave behind all the emotional junk weighing me down and forge a new unbeaten path into my future. I get to share this beautiful journey with you as I learn, flourish, fail, and join forces with special people God has put into my life.

I am excited to let my hair down and stop worrying so much about what other people might think, I have really struggled with wanting to appear to be Super Mom and yet deep down knowing I am not even slightly cutting it....it is so much easier to face the downfalls and laugh at them and embrace that I am who I am and I am trying.

Something I often have to remind myself of is that the future comes just one day at a time. As you will see thru out my journey it is glaringly obvious that I have no patience. I joke that it was missing at birth.;)

Recently I have come back to a more personal relationship with Jesus than I have ever had before. It has given me the strength to shed some of the old garbage I was dragging around and think about how he really died for all my sins and that I am free to be a new person in him.

With that said, I guarantee I won't always be perfectly appropriate (far from it in fact, I appologize for that in advance) but that is part of the fun, breaking the rules of proper behavior. I also probably won't be particularly focused or organized, but I promise to have fun and enjoy the ride!
