Thanksgiving...

We had such a nice Thanksgiving! My brother and sister-in-law did so great! It was festive and fun. Check out their tablesettings.

Road Block....

So I was driving along and what do I see coming up the road?

Luckily, I wasn't in any hurry. I got to do this as a little girl growing up. Moving cattle with my grandpa was one of the highlights of my childhood. I just got to enjoy the trip down memory lane. It made my day!

No One is Safe Here....

Hee Hee no one is safe, I will find them with my camera........I finally had to go for a drive because my little models were getting tired.....see?

The dog started making weird faces.....

The children started covering their faces.....

And pleading into the camera...."Please Mom, no more!"

Not many things where safe from the constant snapping of pictures around here....

Here is a doe and fawn we saw on our drive (cropped like crazy because I only have an 18-55mm lens). Look how fuzzy/furry the fawn is!!!! There deer were about 25ft away and the doe wanted to come after me, thankfully I was in the safety of the pick-up. She kept stamping her feet and would not take her eyes off me.lol

Not even the food was safe around here! Doesn't look near as good as it did last night!
The chickens even got in on some modeling action.
There didn't seem to be too many complaints from the scenery though.

Playing catch up...

I am getting a new camera in less than 20 mins! I am headed to the post office now. So hopefully I can figure out how to make sure my uploader keeps working. It is being finicky. So here is to more pics and more posts on this blog! Maybe I will post about the new camera. I hope it is all I hoped for!

Here comes more pics....even though they might only be ones like the following pic...where I can show you what my life is really like on a day to day basis.

Spud Man when he was around 3-4 yrs with a bag of catfood he snuck into a room....I believe he was even going to eat some......or did he? I don't want to know.

Technical Difficulties

Sadly, I have tried to post several times and cannot get my picture uploader to work. That is why I haven't been posting lately, I figured posts with pics are so much more fun. So today no pics. I am hoping that there will be lots of new material coming. Today, in about 20 mins I go pick up my new camera from the post office. I am so excited. I hope it helps me to add some great stuff to this blog.

I will hopefully be back soon with an update between Aug 25 (my last post) and now.:)
